Kasey Borjas shines as the dynamic Crisis Advocacy Program Manager at The Center for Family Justice (CFJ). Leading a team of dedicated interns and volunteers, she not only connects with the community but also provides vital support to clients seeking assistance at CFJ. In her multifaceted role, Kasey spearheads walk-In protocols and trains staff for the sexual violence hotline, ensuring our resources are readily available to those in need.
Her journey at CFJ began in 2021 as the compassionate Latine Domestic Violence Child Advocate, where she provided invaluable psychoeducation and familial support to children and families grappling with the effects of domestic violence. With a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a minor in music from Eastern Connecticut State University, Kasey's commitment to her role goes beyond professional duty; it's a personal mission rooted in her belief in community responsibility.
