Dr. Peter Glegg holds a BSc (Hons.) in Chemistry and Zoology and is the recipient of the Luther Scott Memorial Scholarship. He completed his Medical Degree at the University of the West Indies in 2000. He is currently a Senior Resident in General Surgery at the St Ann's Bay Regional Hospital in Jamaica.
Dr. Glegg is also an Attorney-at-Law and is the Senior Legal Officer at the University Hospital of the West Indies. He represents the interests of the Hospital in the Emergency Operations Committee of the Ministry of Health and Wellness dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in Jamaica. He is also a member of the COVID-19 taskforce at the University Hospital of the West Indies.
Dr. Peter Glegg is a Lecturer at the Norman Manley Law School located on the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies. He has a background in Television as well as Student Affairs and Teaching.
He presents at several conferences annually in Jamaica especially on issues related to Ethics and Medico-Legal Affairs.
