Michael Juergens

Michael Juergens is a Principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He joined the Deloitte U.S. Firms in 1996 and became a principal in 2002. Since that time, he has held a wide range of leadership positions, including helping to found and build the ERP Assurance practice, the Corporate Governance Services practice, the Information Technology (IT) Internal Audit and Cyber Assurance practice, and the Advisory Client Accelerators practice. He currently leads the Deloitte Winery Solutions and Services practice, providing a portfolio of integrated solutions for companies in the wine industry. Michael specializes in helping clients manage, report and provide governance over information technology risk. He actively serves a number of large Fortune 500 clients in this regard. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation relating to IT security and controls, and has been quoted in a wide range of publications such as the Wall St. Journal and CFO.com. Michael is widely recognized as one of the global leaders shaping the profession around the implementation of leading edge solutions for wineries. He is a well-known speaker on cyber assurance, corporate governance, IT security, and IT audit and reporting, and has delivered hundreds of presentations to national and international audiences. He is the author of numerous whitepapers and other publications.
