Dr. Ashit Talukder

Head of Machine Learning, Moody’s Analytics

Dr. Ashit Talukder is the Head of Machine Learning at Moody’s Analytics. He leads AI, Machine Learning (ML) strategy and new AI and ML Initiatives at Moody’s Analytics to enable faster, better decisions through automation and data-driven solutions. His team develops new AI- and ML-driven products, solutions, and capabilities for risk analytics, prediction, forecasting, workflow automation, and human-machine collaborative systems that improve analytics insights from structured and unstructured data. His career of more than 20 years includes leading AI, ML, and computer vision research at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and leading the NIST Data Science Initiative with a division of over 100 researchers and engineers. He has a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University.
