Nancy is a 30+ year veteran of the travel industry where she worked predominantly in Sales and Marketing for tour operators (Fiesta Holidays and Thomson Vacations) Hotel Chains (Sandals Resorts and Radisson Resorts of the Bahamas) and Cruise Lines (Holland America and Windstar Cruises). Nancy was also the Cruise Product Manager, then Regional Manager with Sears Travel in Ontario. Prior to joining Jesson and Company, Nancy was the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Canadian representative until they closed their offices in December 2019.

Prior to her appointment as Director of Tourism in 2021, Stacy served as a member of the ATB Board of Directors, where she chaired the Marketing Committee. She has a wealth of business development, sales and marketing experience in tourism, having represented a cross section of Anguilla’s most exceptional resort and villa properties. Mrs. Liburd holds a Bachelor of Science (Law) Degree from City University of New York - John Jay College. She also holds a Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University and obtained the Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation from The Caribbean Governance Training Institute.
