About
Perfect for: Everyone attending ArborFest!

Countless studies have shown the benefits of mindfulness, including lowering stress, improving sleep, and boosting overall health. There are many ways to address long to-do lists - but have you thought about how techniques like mindfulness can help you feel more empowered and in-control?

This special workshop will be led by Danielle Arkwright, trained Dramatherapist, Emotional Literacy Support Assistant, and Arbor’s HR Manager. Danielle has delivered interventions, therapy and 1-to-1 mentoring in schools and other community settings for the past 10 years.

This workshop will include:

- A brief overview of the history of mindfulness and its key benefits

- Practical tips on how a mindful approach can help you manage challenges and difficulties at work

- A guided mindfulness practice for beginners

Working in education often means a lot of your time and energy goes into caring for others. This special ArborFest session is designed to give you time for yourself, so you’re ready to take on the rest of the day and week.

You’ll also leave with tools to practice mindfulness in your own time.
