Nick Atkins is a business owner and contact lens optician with over 40 year’s experience in the optical business (he’s keen to point out that he started very young!). In 2008 he co-founded Positive Impact (PI) and is currently the company’s Director of Marketing and Professional Services. PI is an optical sales and marketing business that distributes a range of products including contact lenses and dry eye diagnostics and treatments.

Nick has lectured extensively on clinical and business related subjects throughout the Europe, the UK and Ireland. He has co-authored and written numerous clinical papers and articles and coordinated studies including the landmark EASE (Enhancing the Approach to Selecting Eyewear) study, examining the effect of using contact lenses to help with choosing glasses.
