https://www.bigmarker.com/series/49-gulls-simplified-with-kev/series_detailsThis first session will include a brief introduction to gulls and physical traits shared by all members of the family Laridae.
We will start with small to medium-sized gulls and hooded gulls. Nine of the 22 species of gulls that breed in North America are covered, including all the “hooded" gulls, comparisons of Laughing, Franklin’s, Little and Black-headed Gull.
We will move on to two of the large groups of “gray-backed/white-headed gulls” including: Ring-billed and Mew Gull. These “two-year (maturity)” gulls are a slightly easier to understand than the more complex 3 and 4 year gulls, and we will concentrate on the differences of these East/West counterparts.
