About
Equipment running in high-risk environments, such as high altitudes containing flammable gas mixtures, pose a major safety concern. One mishap, and you could face explosions that lead to equipment malfunction, operational downtime, and personal injury.

Learn how MIL-STD 810 Method 511 Explosive Atmosphere standardizes testing to reduce risk and prevent casualties in similar scenarios. By providing a controlled testing methodology for evaluating equipment in explosive atmospheres, Method 511 allows you to detect product issues early in development, reducing retesting cycles and field application risks.

Join Clayton Forbes, Technical Director at Element Aero, Space & Defense, as he breaks down Explosive Atmosphere Testing. In this session, he will cover required test equipment, the method’s two procedures, and its test cases and limitations.
