Applying to college as a future physician comes with important choices, from selecting a strong pre-med program to deciding whether a competitive BS/MD pathway is the right fit. In this webinar, students and families will learn from Dr. Katie Chiou, graduate of Brown's PLME program, how pre-med and BS/MD admissions differ, what colleges and programs look for in applicants, and how academics, extracurriculars, clinical exposure, research, and service can strengthen an application. We’ll also discuss how to evaluate programs, build a balanced college list, and develop an admissions strategy that keeps both medical school preparation and long-term goals in mind.
