As global mobile data traffic continues to increase, mobile operators deploying 5G, must face the challenges of implementing changing and converging technologies. Some critical 5G applications, such as automated vehicles, require crucial information be communicated with Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC).
System clocks throughout the network need to be accurate and synchronized in frequency, time and phase, and Jitter, Wander and Latency must be carefully managed and kept to a minimum.
The webinar will be an introduction to frequency and time synchronization for modern, in particular 5G, communication systems. Learn what synchronization is, how time is distributed and managed, and what testing is necessary to ensure 5G can support mission critical applications, such as automated vehicles and IoT.
