The objectives of this presentation include: (1) discuss the top ten most important things to remember about Texas homesteads from a title insurance perspective; (2) explain some of the more prominent legal concepts related to Texas homestead law; and (3) explain why certain requirements regarding the homestead will be included in Schedule C of the Title Commitment and how these requirements should be met.
