Many strategies will be necessary to take immediate climate action: Electricity supply; transmission; electrifying the economy; policies; public support; personal actions. All need to be focused on taking meaningful action within the next five years. The opening plenary session will provide informative and inspirational overviews of effective, innovative actions at the international, national, state and local levels across a variety of sectors.
