Andy Dillow
Chief Operations Officer, Springpod
Andy is COO of Springpod, a career education scale-up on a mission to give every student access to meaningful experiences with top employers and educators. Trained as a strategic change manager at Accenture and Credit Suisse, he’s since built multiple edtech ventures that bridge education and early careers. Passionate about equal access, he’s led Springpod to support 1.5M+ students, creating £200M+ in social value. A father of three, he loves sport, endurance events, and innovation.
He has served as chair of governors at his children’s primary school and sits on the board of a nonprofit in New York called WIBO, which provides entrepreneurship training in underserved communities.
Seán Condron
EMEA Social Impact Lead, JLL
Sean is the EMEA Social Impact Lead at JLL, where he manages Social Sustainability initiatives for the business. With a background in Business & Management and a specialism in Corporate Social Responsibility, his academic research challenged traditional CSR models, proposing a modernised approach for today’s corporate world.
Starting his career in Lidl Ireland’s CSR team, Sean now leads impactful programmes at JLL that support communities and drive equity. He spearheaded the creation of JLL’s flagship Social Impact Fund, enabling local teams to invest in community projects, and plays a key role in the award-winning REDI programme, including the ‘Building Your Future’ virtual work experience, which has reached over 6,000 students.
Beth Simpson
Recruitment Programmes & Outreach Advisor, Penguin Roundhouse UK
Beth works as Recruitment Programmes and Outreach Advisor at Penguin Books UK, where she leads recruitment and on-programme support for the organisation's positive action early careers training programmes. She also leads Penguin's careers-focused outreach strategy, designing and delivering inclusive attraction and recruitment activity to engage a broad range of talent and upskill them towards a career in publishing. Prior to joining Penguin, Beth worked at the University of Cambridge, with a focus on sustainability and student engagement.
Alongside her role at Penguin, she chairs their Green Team Network, helping to engage colleagues in sustainability across the organisation.
Cath Brunger
Community Engagement Proposition Manager, AXA UK
Cath has over 15 years’ experience bridging the gap between education and employment, creating opportunities that help young people better understand the world of work and build confidence in their future.
As Community Engagement Proposition Manager at AXA UK, Cath has developed careers education activities including Work Experience designed to make employer engagement meaningful and accessible. Most recently she developed AXA UK’s new hybrid work experience offer, partnering with Springpod to combine flexible virtual learning with in-person experiences.
Passionate about finding practical, engaging ways for employers and education to work together and create opportunities that genuinely benefit young people.
Dr. Pascal Halbeisen
Director of Development and Impact, Social Value Portal
Dr. Pascal Halbeisen has been responsible for developing and expanding TOM UK, the country’s most used framework for measuring and managing social value, the Global TOM System, enabling organisations to measure social value and impact in 20 different countries, and the development and implementation of bespoke solutions and impact evaluations. Pascal has deep expertise in economic and social research and analysis and policy and impact evaluation in the public and private sector.
