Adam Baumgarten, MD, MBA, is a fellowship-trained reconstructive urologist specializing in erectile dysfunction, male stress urinary incontinence, urethral stricture disease, and Peyronie's disease. As Director of Men's Health, Reconstructive Urology, and Prosthetic Urology at UAB Medicine, he provides comprehensive surgical care for men with both common and complex urologic conditions, helping patients restore urinary function, sexual function, and quality of life.
Dr. Baumgarten specializes in penile implant surgery, artificial urinary sphincter and male sling surgery, urethroplasty, Peyronie's disease surgery, buried penis reconstruction, and robotic ureteral reconstruction. He completed his urology residency at the University of South Florida and fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is an Associate Professor, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, Director of the Genitourinary Reconstruction and Prosthetics Fellowship, and leads multiple national clinical trials advancing reconstructive urology and men's health.
