    Kerrie Forster
    CEO, The Workboat Association
    After 16 years working both on/offshore within various maritime industries, Kerrie is currently CEO of the Workboat Association - “The trade association for Workboat Owners, Operators, Stakeholders and Professionals.”

    Previously a workboat vessel Master, he has substantial offshore experience onboard CTVs, Survey Vessels, Dive support and Anchor Handlers. In more recent time Kerrie has spent a number of years managing a fleet of vessels for an international workboat company based in the Netherlands and has gained experience from working across the globe. Kerrie has a strong background in promoting a well-accepted safety culture, responsible work ethics and cross organisation understanding.

    Kerrie actively represents the Workboat Industry and wider Offshore Contracting Sector speaking and chairing at working groups and conferences, providing guidance and research to many national and international publications and campaigns, Kerrie is motivated in supporting all industry stakeholders from Regulators to Apprentices.

    Andy Page - Moderator
    Managing Director, Chartwell Marine
    A Chartered Engineer, Andy Page is Managing Director of Chartwell Marine, a Naval Architectural consultancy business which supports boat builders and vessel operators worldwide. In addition to this, Andy Page is the Chairman of the Workboat Association Technical Working Group, responsible for leading the way in industry decarbonisation.

    For several years, Andy worked for a large high-speed vessel boat builder and repairer as head naval architect and general manager. The design organisation supported both their UK South Coast & East Coast Facilities as well as providing design services to the wider market. Andy headed up the design team, which at its peak had multiple naval architects and marine engineers working worldwide. The team were responsible for designing several craft ranging from small commercial ribs to large high-speed offshore catamarans. Their work took them across the world, with projects in Australia, Brazil, Taiwan and most significantly the USA.

    Following these exciting years Andy formed Chartwell Marine Ltd, to operate independently. Chartwell Marine are an award-winning pioneer in next generation vessel design and are responsible for a number of innovative and market leading projects including, but not limited to, the Chartwell 24 hybrid scanwell survey, and, partners in the design of the BARTECH30 and BARTECH50.

    Simon Powell
    Operations Director, MSE International
    Simon has a broad knowledge of the marine and maritime sector, gained from an 18-year career as a professional seafarer and 16 years developing and running UK and EU collaborative projects.

    He has served as a submarine warfare officer and a merchant navy officer in a wide variety of ship types. He is a founder member and Operations Director of MSE International, an industry body working to stimulate innovation within the marine sector, generate growth, improve competitiveness, and boost profitability, with a growing emphasis on decarbonisation. Simon leads MSE’s interests in maritime transport, logistics, security and fuels.

    Tom Binns
    Sales Manager, MIT
    Tom Binns, Sales Manager, MIT has a strong background in mechanical power transmission solutions within varying markets, from marine to agriculture and automotive. This varied industry knowledge provides a unique understanding of the challenges and demands of different driveline arrays and how these power requirements translate into decarbonisation projects.

    Torleif Stokke,
    Managing Director, Servogear
    Torleif Stokke is the Managing Director of Servogear AS, were he entered position in 2011. Stokke was also managing director in Amundsen Diving from 2003 to 2007.

    After graduating with a degree in Marine Technology/Shipbuilding from Bergen University College, Stokke had several positions in Wärtsilä Norway AS.

    Stokke has presented Servogear on several occasions where the green shift of shipping/marine industry has been on the agenda.
