Hello and welcome along to football.london's live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League clash against LASK.

Having come through three qualifiers just to make it to this stage of the competition, the Lilywhites will be hoping to start with a bang against their Austrian opponents.

Spurs have scored goals for fun in recent weeks and Jose Mourinho will have his fingers crossed that his team can get back to winning ways after Sunday's 3-3 draw against West Ham.

The Europa League gives the head coach the chance to rotate his squad and he may just do that in order to keep his side fresh ahead of Monday's trip to Burnley.

Gareth Bale came off the bench last weekend following his homecoming and the Welshman may well be given his opportunity from the start.

Fellow new signing Carlos Vinicius could also be in line for his first appearance for the club after taking his place on the bench against the Hammers.

Our Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest will be on hand to guide you through this evening's match so don't go anywhere.

The strength of that team and the bench just shows how much quality Jose Mourinho has to call upon.

The one area that hasn't got the cover is central defence so Ben Davies comes inside to play there, as he did a couple of times in a two for Mauricio Pochettino.

All six of Spurs' signings in the main transfer window start the game and Carlos Vinicius will get to prove whether the club finally have the answer to the second striker problem.

He certainly knows where the net is with 24 goals last season and he played in both the Champions League and Europa League with Benfica last season so he's no stranger to this competition.

Then there's Gareth Bale, starting a match in a Tottenham shirt for the first time since 2013.

This will be another chance for him to shake off the rust and you would imagine that he, Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura will interchange positions throughout the game behind Vinicius.

Dele Alli misses out but he's got to earn that spot and right now Lamela is ahead of him for the number 10 role.

With Mourinho have the ability to use five substitutes from his 12, you would imagine Alli will get game time as well as Giovani Lo Celso and probably young Jack Clarke as well if the game is going Tottenham's way as the teenager has been impressing in training.

Mourinho will not only want a flurry of goals but also a clean sheet. That defence need to regain their confidence.
