Factors that MBA/PGDM Aspirants Fail to Consider while Selecting a B-School

An electrical engineer from IIT Kanpur and Management Graduate from IIM Calcutta, I have a blend of extensive industry experience in Marketing, Strategic Planning and General Management and (now) in-depth exposure to management academics. I have now been into management academics for over sixteen years, during which I was the first Head of Globsyn Business School, following which I had a stint of over five years with the International School of Business & Media, first as Professor and later as Director. During my stint as Director, ISB&M Kolkata became one of the leading private B-schools in Kolkata. I subsequently had a very successful 5-year stint with the Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai. During my stewardship, TSM became one of the top B-schools in South India. My climactic achievement was perhaps taking TSM to 15th position pan-India in the 2016 NIRF rankings. Besides teaching and general administration, one of my core competencies is Corporate Relations & Placements, in which area I have had considerable success and exposure during my years in management academics.
