Law Enforcement Victims' Rights is presented from 9AM to 10:30AM.
This presentation will provide information to peace officers on their obligations under victims’ rights laws, including instruction on how to complete the Victims’ Rights Request/Waiver form. In addition, it will provide an opportunity to discuss various scenarios officers will encounter in victims’ rights applicable cases. Ultimately, the workshop prepare officers to better serve victims while simultaneously complying with statutory mandates.
