Laura has been a Patient Food Service Coordinator for three months. She has a strong background in food service management, including positions as Dietary Manager of a long-term care/skilled nursing facility and Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition Services in an acute rehab facility. She has also held positions as a Consultant Dietitian in long term care facilities and Clinical Dietitian in an acute rehab facility. Fun fact - She decided to pursue a degree in dietetics while working as a line cook in a hotel and continued to work as a cook throughout college. She cooked for a catering company, for chain and independent restaurants, in a food truck, in a university dining hall, at a juvenile detention center, for a senior nutrition program and volunteered with a meal delivery program for people living with HIV/AIDS.
