Urologist

Dr. Eric Gourley joined Colorado Urology in September 2020 after completing his surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio TX. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Gourley was a practicing pharmacist from 2010 through 2015 in an inpatient and outpatient settings. He completed his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in Lawrence, KS, and his pharmacy practice residency at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Gourley’s research experience covers studies related to radical vs. partial nephrectomy in renal cell carcinoma, robot-assisted laparoscopic radical cystectomy, renal angiosarcoma, undescended testicle complicated by torsion and several pharmaceutical studies.

In 2018, Dr. Gourley received the UTHSCSA Resident Endoscopic Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement and performance in endoscopy and the education awards for outstanding scholastics. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
