Ken and his wife, Mendy, served in Vanuatu as translation advisers for the SW Tanna language. Together, they homeschooled their four children, trained pastors, learned languages, delivered babies, developed dictionaries and partnered with a community to translate the Bible

Join us as Ken shares about his many adventures and experiences as a linguist and Bible translation adviser, as well as discusses the principles that enable missionaries to thrive cross-culturally.

Ken is an ordained Southern Baptist pastor as well as an associate professor of Intercultural studies at Biola University, where he directs the MA. in ICS program. He continues to serve in Bible translation as a translation and anthropology consultant.
