Chad Conger was born into the beauty industry—literally. With a mom behind the chair and a career that began at CND, he’s spent the last 20+ years developing game-changing products as a co-inventor of CND Shellac and leading innovation at companies like OPI/Coty and Cohere Beauty. With six patents and hundreds of product launches under his belt, Chad is now Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer at GlycosBio, where he’s helping to bridge the gap between biotech and beauty to push the boundaries of clean, effective products that bring a therapeutic approach to personal care products.

Chad’s career spans the full product lifecycle—from benchtop breakthroughs to boardroom strategy. His experience across brands, manufacturing, and now biotechnology gives him a rare perspective on turning bold ideas into real-world solutions. He also serves as an advisor to Potion AI, a startup exploring how artificial intelligence can revolutionize personalization and product development in beauty - extending his commitment to driving innovation across the industry.

A dad of two boys and a volunteer coach in nearly every sport they play, Chad brings the same energy to the field as he does to his work: show up, listen well, and lead with purpose. He believes leadership starts with listening, grows with discomfort, and thrives when you’re doing what matters. With a passion for mentoring talent, building teams, and solving real problems, Chad’s work blends science, strategy, and heart.
