John Morrison

John Morrison is the Head of Portfolio Management at Secfi. Most recently he worked as a Senior Investment Strategist at Dimensional Fund Advisors where he previously served as an equity portfolio manager. At Dimensional, John managed multi-billion dollar portfolios, helped launch new investment vehicles and strategies, created investment content, and educated clients and prospective clients on the firm's investment approach. John also spent time at Goldman Sachs in credit risk management and at Bain & Company as a consultant. He's a CFA charterholder and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Julio Martínez

Co-Founder and CEO, Abacum

Julio Martínez is the Co-Founder and CEO of Abacum, a leading FP&A automation platform. With over 20 years of experience spanning finance, tech, and entrepreneurship, Julio transitioned from Investment Banking roles in NYC, São Paulo, Zurich, and London to launching four fintech products and co-founding Abacum to solve the challenges he faced firsthand in finance. Passionate about innovation, efficient growth, and building impactful solutions, Julio is on a mission to make finance teams the heroes of their organizations.

Joyce Mackenzie Liu

Modern CFO and Founder, Pegafund

Joyce is a Modern CFO and the Founder & CEO of Pegafund. She gets excited by deeply curious, global-minded, talented entrepreneurs, operators and investors. She also supports entrepreneurs by investing directly in startups and funds.

Before Pegafund, Joyce was a venture and early growth investor at Columbia Lake Partners, a Bessemer-backed European debt fund, and Dawn Capital, a London-based B2B Software equity fund. Before moving across the Atlantic, Joyce worked as a late-stage software investor at Ares Capital and investment banker at J.P. Morgan.
