I am an Atlanta native born at Crawford Long Hospital. My parents and two brothers still live locally in Atlanta. I graduated from Westminster High School where I played soccer, football, and wrestling.

I learned from a young age the importance of a broad liberal arts education and was surrounded by mentors including my father who is an immigrant from Greece. He attended Vanderbilt University in the 1950’s and retired at the age of 84.

I attended college at Emory University and graduated with a bachelor of arts in history and went on to pursue medical school and residency at Emory University.

What attracted me to Urology was the unique mixture of medicine and surgery that this specialty offers. Also, Urology is a specialty that is continually changing and growing offering opportunities to positively impact a patient’s quality of life.
