Comstock Mining Inc. is a Nevada-based, gold and silver mining company with extensive, contiguous property in the Comstock District and is an emerging leader in sustainable, responsible mining that is currently commercializing environment-enhancing, precious-metal-based technologies, products and processes for precious metal recovery, including breakthrough mercury remediation technologies, through an investee.

The Company began acquiring properties in the Comstock District in 2003. Since then, the Company has consolidated a significant portion of the Comstock District, amassed the single largest known repository of historical and current geological data on the Comstock region, secured permits, built an infrastructure and completed its first phase of production. The Company continues evaluating and acquiring properties inside and outside the district expanding its footprint and exploring all of our existing and prospective opportunities for further exploration, development and mining. The Company’s goal is to grow per-share value by commercializing environment-enhancing, precious-metal-based products and processes that generate predictable cash flow (throughput) and increase the long-term enterprise value of our northern Nevada based platform.

Corrado DeGasperis
Chairman, President & CEO
Corrado DeGasperis has been President and CEO of Comstock Mining since April 2010, and appointed to the Board of Directors in June 2011, and Executive Chairman of the Board since September 2015.

He brings over 30 years of industrial manufacturing, operational and financial management and capital markets experience. Prior to Comstock, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Barzel Industries Inc. Barzel operated a network of 15 manufacturing, steel processing and distribution facilities in the United States and Canada. Prior to Barzel, he served as Chief Financial Officer of GrafTech International Ltd., a global manufacturer of industrial graphite and carbon-based materials. Mr. De Gasperis was also a certified public accountant with KPMG LLP, serving major clients like General Electric and Union Carbide Corporation. KPMG announced his admittance, as a Partner, effective July 1, 1998.

Mr. DeGasperis is a founding member and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture and is also a Director of the Gold Hill Hotel Inc., the most historic, continuously operating Hotel in Nevada. He is also on of the Board of the Virginia City Tourism Commission. He was a Member of the NYSE Markets Advisory Committee, the Northern Nevada Development Authority and the Northern Nevada Network.
