With the rise in popularity worldwide of the French Bulldog (e.g. “Frenchie”), veterinarians are faced with more and more ocular problems in this breed. This lecture will focus on a myriad of problems afflicting this, and other, brachycephalic breeds. We will review anatomical differences that render them more susceptible to ophthalmic issues and discuss medical and surgical strategies to restore patient comfort and preserve vision!
