9am Dubai / 10:30am Mumbai / 1pm Singapore
This webinar will showcase the application of novel materials for fuel gas, gasification derived syngas, LPG, FCC gasoline, diesel and kerosene streams and highlight how they achieve the trifecta: energy efficiency, decarbonization and SO
2 emissions reductions in an industrial complex.
Decarbonization and energy efficiency are key economic drivers for fossil fuel-based industries globally along with emphasis on minimizing sulfur emissions. Sulfur removal has been practiced in the industry for decades. However, with the development of new media, adsorbents, or catalysts, it’s now possible to achieve the above stated goals by deploying these materials in different applications.
Three different case studies will be shared:
- Fuel gas desulfurization: it will be shown how the acid dew point reduction leads to higher energy recovery across the air preheaters associated with fired heaters
- Diesel desulfurization at a US refinery site with a novel catalytic adsorbent
- Coal or petcoke derived syngas, via gasification, desulfurization, including H2S and COS, using a novel approach
The free 60-minute webinar will include time to answer your questions during the session.
