Countywide CalFresh Task Force

Jaqueline joined the San Diego Hunger Coalition in April 2019. In her work as CalFresh Program Manager, she supports efforts to eliminate barriers and increase access to CalFresh benefits in San Diego County, facilitates CalFresh Task Force meetings, and provides training and technical assistance to partner agencies.

Jaqueline has a background in hunger and poverty relief and is dedicated to serving her community. Her interest in food security began in college while studying food politics and quickly became her passion. Following graduation, she served one year of national service as an AmeriCorps VISTA with Hunger Free America as the CalFresh Capacity Coordinator working to increase access to healthy food for San Diegans.

Before joining the San Diego Hunger Coalition, Jaqueline worked at People Assisting The Homeless (PATH) as a Development Associate where she oversaw the volunteer department, kitchen and meal service program, development, and community engagement.

Jaqueline received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
