Join this new webinar on Alternative fuel vehicles – Status quo and future projects of sustainable mobility

About this Webinar

The automotive industry is changing. The trend is moving away from traditional engines and towards alternative drive systems. As can be seen from the steadily growing demand for electric cars and innovative mobility solutions, the automotive industry and its consumers are focusing on the issue of sustainability.

In this webinar, Dr. Till Gnann, from the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research, will speak about the role of alternative powertrains and why sustainable solutions are more and more important topic for the automotive industry.

Key Learning Objectives:

On 8 November, you will:

• Learn more about technology alternatives to conventionally fueled vehicles and the difference in energy generation and supply
• Get more information about the status quo of alternative fuel vehicles in Germany and worldwide
• Understand the future market developments and their impact on the energy systems
• Get an overview of the current subsidy programs of the countries.

Dr. Konstantin Kartaschew
Advanced Workflow Manager - Leica Microsystems
Konstantin Kartaschew holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), with a focus on micro-spectroscopic analysis. After his PhD he broadened his experience, as a product specialist for spectroscopy within several molecular and elemental spectroscopy (e.g. atomic emission and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy) methods. In 2019 he joined Leica Microsystems as a specialist in LIBS (Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) and further specific compound microscopy applications.

Konstantin’s role give him the opportunity to exchange with customers in different industries. Learning about their challenges and offering them practical advice gives him great job satisfaction.
