To celebrate International Women’s Day, Arbor is hosting an inspiring panel discussion for primary and secondary students in our Cardiff schools, focused on encouraging girls to explore careers in technology.
Students will hear from Phillippa De’Ath (Chief Commercial Officer, Arbor), Bex Campbell (Chief Product Officer, Arbor), Namrata Das (Amazon Web Services), alongside Lily Donnelly (Marketing Manager, Arbor and former Cardiff student). Together, they’ll share their journeys into tech, the challenges they’ve faced, what inspires them, and how they’ve built successful careers in a fast-moving industry.
The digital technology sector in Wales is worth an estimated £8.5bn, with just 25% of the workforce being women (Nation Cymru, 2025). This session is designed to be one small step in a nationwide mission to close this gap, by showing students that there is no single route into tech, and that curiosity, confidence and ambition can take you far.
A great opportunity to celebrate International Women’s Day by opening doors, sparking ideas, and inspiring the next generation of women in tech.
