It's never too early to start building a thoughtful pre-med profile. Join Brown PLME alum, Dr. Katie Chiou, to learn how you can start early to stand out.
Interested in a future career in medicine? Building a strong pre-med profile starts well before senior year. This webinar, led by Admissions Expert Dr. Katie Chiou, will help students and families understand how to make thoughtful academic and extracurricular choices that demonstrate a genuine interest in healthcare.

We’ll cover course selection, grades, research, volunteering, clinical exposure, leadership, summer opportunities, and other experiences that can strengthen a future college application. Students will also learn how to balance depth with exploration and avoid common mistakes that can make a pre-med profile feel unfocused or overly manufactured.

By the end of the session, students will have a clearer roadmap for using their sophomore and junior years to build a compelling foundation for college and a future pre-med path.
