  • About
Atlantico Business Development, the independent port promoter and maritime business developer of ARA, is proud to announce the first edition of a new online series of events: Ship2ARA.

The ARA port region is Europe's and the Atlantic's Number One port and logistics cluster, handling almost 900 million tons of seaborne cargo and around to 26 million TEU annually. The latter figure amounts to 27% of all TEU handled in the EU.

Ship2ARA therefore aims to highlight maritime business opportunities as well as the latest trends and developments in the many and diverse ports of Flanders and the Netherlands.

Containerisation, digitalisation, modal shifts, post-Brexit trade with the UK and Ireland, decarbonisation, bunkering, innovation and other subjects will be dealt with in several editions of Ship2ARA. Each edition will field a different mix of speakers from port authorities, terminal operators and other players in ARA ports, showcasing the enormous drive for innovation in this highly diverse cluster of ports.
