I’m a Senior Manager in the Transport business of Lloyds Banking Group and oversee the management of our Strategic Consultancy & Sustainability team working across a broad spectrum of customer from those with 1 vehicle to some of the UK's largest and most complex fleets while also providing insight and guidance on the transition to net zero of the 1.2m vehicles we finance.
CIMA qualified with over 30 years of financial services experience with more than 25 of those within the fleet finance industry, with expertise including sustainable transportation, funding and cost reduction methods.
I am particularly passionate about the role of fleets within the transition to a more sustainable leasing industry. I am proud to bring my all around fleet market expertise and insight to the journey to zero emissions

Ben Edwards
Senior Consultant, Arval
Ben joined Arval back in 2015 in the corporate sales teams before moving onto the consultancy team, utilising his background in analytics and data handling to progress through to a senior role in 2024.

He has a passion for helping businesses build fleet polices that hold up legally, operationally and for the people driving the vehicles. His work in EV transition planning, driver safety and mental health saw him recognised with the BVRLA’s Industry Hero award for decarbonisation in 2023.

Mike Roberts returned to Fleet News in 2021 having previously been its news editor in the early 2000s.
He is now managing editor for Fleet News, AM and Rail in the Bauer B2B portfolio. Prior to this he was managing editor of Fleet News' sister-title Smart Transport.
Mike started his career in local newspapers in the 1990s and has since worked on several specialist titles, both in print and online.
