    Mark Larson
    Director - R & D and Proposals
    Mark has over 34 years of technical and managerial experience with Makino. He leads the research and development team in the Makino Process R&D center in Mason, OH. In this role, he is responsible for process research and development on horizontal and vertical machining centers which includes new tooling, program pathing, coolant, work holding, measurement, analysis of machining processes.

    Additionally, Mark manages several proposal and application support teams from die mold to aerospace structural and aero-engine to production machinery parts for automotive, medical and general part production.

    Mark has formerly held multiple positions over the years while at Makino including Applications Engineer, Team Leader, Applications Engineering Manager, Purchasing Manager and Turnkey Engineering Manager. He has vast metal cutting experience which includes multiple years of developing specific turnkey engineered part solutions for various industries.

    Mark is a graduate of Miami University with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering.
