    Dr. Alfred Griffin III
    CEO & Founder
    Dr. Alfred C. Griffin III, DMD, PhD, MMSc is the Cofounder and CEO of LightForce. Dr. Griffin received his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia and completed his DMD and PhD in Craniofacial Biology at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014. He earned his Masters of Medical Research and Certificate in Orthodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2017. In addition to leading LightForce, Dr. Griffin practices in the Boston area and serves on faculty as a Lecturer in the Department of Developmental Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

    Dr. Griffin along with Dr. Lou Shuman, DMD founded LightForce Orthodontics in 2015 with the mission to revolutionize the specialty through advanced manufacturing and technology. After four years of extensive research and development, LightForce launched their first product to the Orthodontic market: the world’s first, and only, fully customized 3D printed bracket system and digital treatment software.     Dr. Chris Bonebreak Jackson
    Head of Clinical Affairs, LightForce Orthodontics
    Dr. Jackson received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, after which she parlayed a poker hobby into a five-year career as a High-Yield Bond Trader for Goldman Sachs.

    She then attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her orthodontic residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Following residency, she obtained funding from the National Science Foundation to investigate 3D metal printing protocols for orthodontic appliances.

    Today, she is a clinician in private practice, is adjunct faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and innovates with LightForce as Director of Clinical Affairs. She resides in Lexington, MA with her husband and three daughters.

    Dr. Alex Waldman
    Orthodontist, Waldman Orthodontics
    Dr. Alexander Waldman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a triple Ivy League trained orthodontist. He received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also received the National Board Achievement Award.

    Dr. Waldman completed his fellowship in orthodontics at Harvard University and received the esteemed Joseph L. Henry Award for Excellence in Clinical and Research Training, awarded to the top graduate student amongst all dental specialties. At Harvard, Dr. Waldman also received a Master of Medical Sciences degree and studied the effect of collagen mutations on temporomandibular joint degeneration, establishing an innovative research model that has led to many other studies and sparked the development of Dr. Waldman’s expertise in clinical management of jaw disorders and complex bite issues. Dr. Waldman was also recognized for his abilities to care for a wide range of children and adults with awards from the Society of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities and the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry.

    Currently, Dr. Waldman practices in Beverly Hills, California where believes in blending the latest technology with traditional, evidence-based orthodontic concepts to provide patients with cutting-edge orthodontic treatment.

    Evan Perkins
    Owner & Orthodontist, Perkins Orthodontics
    Dr. Evan Perkins embarked on his journey in the field of dentistry at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his degree in 2017. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue a specialized Orthodontic Residency at Saint Louis University – Center for Advanced Dental Education.
    In 2020, Dr. Evan Perkins established Perkins Orthodontics, a private practice committed to providing top-notch orthodontic care in a warm, family-oriented environment. Dr. Evan Perkins aims to treat each of his patients’ individual needs with the utmost care through digital technology. He’s been a fully digital practice from the very beginning.
    Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Evan Perkins finds fulfillment in his personal life. He is happily married to his wonderful wife, Aaron Michelle, since 2018. They have a daughter, Quinnalynn, two pups, Braxton and Chyster, that are full of energy! Outside of work and family, he is an avid sports fanatic, particularly for DFW sports teams.

    Dr. Carlin Weaver is a board-certified orthodontist and owner of Weaver Orthodontics in Swampscott, Massachusetts. A second-generation orthodontist and third-generation dentist, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Certificate in Orthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. Since assuming ownership of her practice in 2017, Dr. Weaver has led its transformation into a fully digital orthodontic office, integrating LightForce customized braces, Dental Monitoring, and Angel clear aligners while more than doubling the size of the practice.

    Her clinical focus centers on improving efficiency, predictability, and treatment outcomes through digital workflows. She is equally passionate about building a practice culture rooted in excellent customer service, kindness, teamwork, and growth—and takes great pride in creating an environment where patients feel genuinely cared for and consistently leave happy. Dr. Weaver has been recognized as a Boston Top Dentist for nine consecutive years and was featured on the cover of Orthotown magazine. When she’s not in the office or attending continuing education courses, she can be found at the gym or unwinding with a healthy dose of reality TV.
