Marah Hehemann MD

Marah C. Hehemann, MD is a fellowship-trained surgeon, researcher, educator and patient advocate specializing in the field of men’s health and general urology. Her clinical interests include advanced erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male factor infertility, male stress urinary incontinence, and cancer survivorship. She has extensive experience in prosthetic surgery for restoration of male sexual function and urinary control (penile implant and incontinence procedures), as well as complex microsurgery for male factor infertility.
She believes in providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a comfortable environment where patients can talk about problems like sexual dysfunction due to cancer or other chronic conditions, or difficulty with building a family. She is committed to understanding a patient’s goals before we embark on a treatment path that should ultimately meet their needs.
Dr. Hehemann is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UW School of Medicine. She has presented her award-winning research in the fields of male sexual health, urologic prosthetics and male infertility at several international meetings. She is an active member in the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, and serves on the Editorial Board of the Video Journal of Prosthetic Urology.
