About
As the solar industry expands to consider projects in very different environments and installation scenarios, module technology is diversifying to meet the needs of a broadening set of applications. In this pv magazine Webinar, we look to European markets and how cell and module manufacturer Longi has been able to adapt its back contact technology to several scenarios developers active across the region will recognize.

From snow and ice to extreme heat, PV modules need to be able to operate in every environment. And as developers get more creative with projects as well, modules also face a range of different project types and customer needs.

This means PV modules can no longer be viewed entirely as a standardized ‘one size fits all’ product. Longi is among the manufacturers taking note of this, and expanding its PV module offering to include products optimized for particular operating scenarios. In this webinar, we’ll hear from Longi product experts about this strategy and how it addresses specific pain points for solar customers.

We’ll look at two different installation scenarios common to European PV markets and how Longi has been able to adapt its products to better serve the needs of these. And we’ll share a case study from a project in Europe where the value of this application-specific innovation is clearly demonstrated.
