In this webinar, John Gilbert, co-author of Under One Roof Scotland is talking to Nick Blair of ZM Architects , a firm which has recently repaired many tenements in Rothesay and Campbletown. They are sharing slides of tenements that Nick has worked on,and discussing the issues that they dealt with during repair work. They are joined by Gordon Matheson of Mathesons Plumbing and he’ll be showing pictures of leadwork normally only seen from high. The conversations are followed by a Q&A session featuring questions from owners in Argyll. The questions include what to do if a neighbouring tenement is causing damage to yours; applying green roofs to listed buildings; what builders should do to prevent fires in buildings and insurance issues when things go wrong while builders are on site.

Author and producer of Under One Roof Scotland
Annie Flint became interested in tenement management when she had some interesting experiences during communal block repairs. She subsequently wrote "The Tenement Handbook" with her co-author John Gilbert. After many further adventures in all things tenemental, and when the Tenement Handbook became sadly dated, Annie and John set up the website www.underoneroof.scot that took the Handbook online. Under One Roof has been widely praised, even being mentioned favourably in the Scottish Parliament.
