This webinar will be presented from the perspective of in-house compliance practitioners, whether they’re licensed attorneys or not, as both have faced the similar challenges of putting regulatory compliance into practice. This session is meant to provide an overall structure of various corporate compliance programs, whether they be Export or Customs Controls, FAR/DFAR requirements, ITAR, Environmental Product Compliance, and more. The idea is to provide the common denominators across most regulatory compliance requirements, which mirror the Federal Sentencing Guidelines and what impact the recent June 2020 Department of Justice concerns on compliance programs may have when considering building or improving your current programs.

This will be the introductory webinar of a 3-Part Series on “Architecting and Building a 21st Century Corporate Compliance Program”, with Part I beginning on July 28th, which will focus on the “building blocks” of a Trade Compliance Program to help meet Import, Export, NIST and ITAR requirements. Our first special guest speaker, Mr. Rich Tello, CEO and CISO of ComplyZoom, will join us. Rich is a Cyber Risk & Compliance Strategist who will focus on how to operationalize compliance requirements across the enterprise in order to build a “Measurable Compliance Program”.
