Paul H. Chung, MD
Fellowship-trained Reconstructive Urologist, Director of the Division of Reconstructive Urology and Associate Professor of Urology at Thomas Jefferson University’s, Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, PA
He specializes in erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, stress urinary incontinence, urethral stricture disease, buried penis, and genitourinary reconstruction.
Dr. Chung earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at Northwestern University. He then earned his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University’s Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. Chung completed a research fellowship in the National Institutes of Health’s Clinical Research Training Program in Bethesda, Maryland.
He then completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he developed his foundation in reconstructive and prosthetic urology under the mentorship of Dr. Allen Morey. Dr. Chung also completed a clinical fellowship and developed advanced training in genitourinary reconstruction, prosthetics, and trauma at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle with Dr. Hunter Wessells.
Dr. Chung has published over 150 abstracts and manuscripts in a number of peer-reviewed journals. He’s an active member of the AUA, American College of Surgeons, Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons, Société Internationale d'Urologie, Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons, International Society for Sexual Medicine, and SMSNA.
He is a Center of Excellence for both the Coloplast Titan and the AMS 700.
Amjad H. Alwaal, MS, MD
Fellowship-trained Reconstructive Urologist and Andrologist, Associate Professor of Urology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School
He specializes in Urologic Reconstruction, Men's Health, Impotence, Infertility, and Voiding Disorders .
Dr. Alwaal earned his medical degree at King Abdulaziz University. He obtained a masters degree in surgical research from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He completed his residency in Urology at McGill University in Montreal. From there he completed two fellowships one in Urologic Reconstruction and one in Andrology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
He has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and book chapters on urologic reconstruction, sexual dysfunction, trauma, and prosthetics. He is a research and awards committee member is the SMSNA.
