Daniel Fishbein SLCR
Corporate Real Estate & NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate
Mr. Fishbein uses his extensive experience in Corporate and Investment Real Estate to teach real estate courses at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. He was Director of Global Real Estate at CIT Bank, having previously served as Director of Real Estate Management at The Vanguard Group. On the investment side, Dan was VP of Asset Management for BNY Mellon’s Urdang Capital Group and Director of Portfolio Management at Rubenstein Partners. Early in his career, Dan was Director of Real Estate at Boston’s Economic Development Industrial Corporation.

Dan’s subject matter expertise in portfolio management stems from significant experience in executing strategic transactions to meet changing business needs of both occupier and investment companies. At CIT this included large scale portfolio additions and dispositions to support business changes and a 30% portfolio reduction for enhanced profitability completed during a single calendar year.

Dan holds leadership roles in CoreNet Global, the professional association for Corporate Real Estate including past chair of the New York City Chapter for which he is currently a Board Advisor, President of the Philadelphia chapter, leadership for 15 Eastern Regional Symposiums, and participation on multiple global and chapter committees. He is a member of the New York Executive Leaders Council, served on the Tredyffrin Township, PA Planning Board, and has been a moderator and speaker for industry programs including at Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Boston College, and Green Pearl programs.

Accomplishments include (i) negotiation of CIT’s corporate headquarters leases in New York & New Jersey and institution of a new workplace strategy, (ii) planning, site selection, and workplace strategy for Vanguard’s corporate headquarters, (iii) institution of significant global portfolio, process, and staffing changes in response to business changes including mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions (iv) leading bank branch of the future project team at CIT, (v) achieving average annual return from investment properties asset managed at Urdang of over 15%, (vi) leading sustainability initiatives at Vanguard and Urdang, (vii) leading best practices and process improvement initiatives in all positions, (viii) achieving over 90% lease up of the former South Boston Army and Navy bases and properties in distressed neighborhoods, and (ix) completion/oversight of numerous lease negotiation, site selection, and due diligence activities at all places employed.

Seth Wasserman
US Head of Real Estate - NY/Northeast | IBM
Seth Wasserman is the Head of Real Estate, NY/Northeast at IBM where he leads a portfolio of over 7.2 million square feet which includes IBM’s Global HQ and Learning Center in Armonk, NY, One Madison Avenue in NYC, Global HQ for Systems Manufacturing in Poughkeepsie and the Global HQ for Research in Yorktown. Prior to this role Seth had served as Portfolio Leader for US Northeast since joining IBM in September 2021 where he led the consolidation and relocation of over 2,000 employees spread across 10 offices in New York City into one new office at One Madison Avenue.

Prior to IBM, Seth worked at Savills, a Commercial Real Estate consulting firm assisting occupiers of office space in their real estate transactions. Seth began his tenure at Savills in 2014 as an Assistant Director operating out of the firm’s New York office. Prior to his departure for IBM in 2021 Seth had been promoted to Associate Director. Some of Seth’s most notable transactions include a 78,000 square-foot relocation for Chainalysis, a 68,000 square-foot relocation for JCCA in Brooklyn. 36,000 square-foot relocation on behalf of Dashlane. 26,000 square-foot relocation on behalf of New York City Charter School of the Arts, a 16,000 square-foot renewal on behalf of Russo & Toner (law firm), and a 16,000 square-foot restructure and renewal on behalf of Log-On. Other clients include Hausfeld, LLP, Uber, AHRC New York, and TB Alliance,

Prior to joining Savills, Seth worked in a variety of account management and operations roles in the media and marketing industry. As an undergraduate, he also interned at Century Commercial Real Estate in Lakeland, Florida.

Seth earned his Bachelors Degree in Marketing Management from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. While there Seth was awarded the Sharp Fellowship in Business. He went on to earn his MBA from St. John’s University in Queens, NY where he was accepted into the Executive In Residence Program, where he and a team of students provided consultancy services for Leerink and Ridgewood Savings Bank.

Seth resides in Pleasantville, NY with his wife Amy, and two children Harrison (7) and Eli (4). In his spare time Seth enjoys coaching his son’s sports teams and whenever able you can find Seth out on the golf course.

Melissa Visoky
Senior Director of Real Estate | WeWork
Melissa Visoky is WeWork’s Senior Director of Real Estate, overseeing a portfolio that represents one-third of the real estate platform’s North American business. Her remit includes 60 locations in 15 markets - spanning New York City, the Midwest, Texas, the Pacific Northwest and the Mountain West - totaling approximately three million square feet. She leads all lease-related transactions in these markets and cultivates many of the company’s key landlord partnerships, ensuring its real estate strategy supports sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Over her decade-long tenure at WeWork, Melissa has grown alongside the company, beginning in 2016 as one of its first Real Estate Analysts and helping to drive its rapid expansion across North America. In more recent years, she played a key role in the company's lease restructuring initiative and continues to lead the strategy and optimization of WeWork's portfolio to align with evolving business needs and market dynamics.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Outside the office, she enjoys yoga, tennis, soup dumplings, and discovering hidden gems throughout Brooklyn.
