Tyler Opland
Operations Mgr ISG at North Star Imaging
Tyler Opland is the Responsible Level 3 and Operations Manager within the Inspection Services Group at North Star Imaging. With over seven years of experience in the NDT field, including his tenure at Pratt & Whitney as an NDT Manager and Level 3 technician, Tyler has honed his skills in project management and developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of aerospace engineering. Since joining North Star Imaging, Tyler has had the opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge work in X-ray and CT nondestructive testing that NSI is known for. When he is not at work, you can find him enjoying the great outdoors, whether it's hunting or tending to his farm.

Patrick Boulton
Senior Technical and Certification Engineer
Patrick Boulton is the Senior Technical and Certification Engineer at The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing.
He has been in post for a period of 12 months after serving within the institute for over 9 years.
Prior to accepting a role at The Institute, he accrued 24 years as an Aeronautical and NDT Engineer while employed by British Airways.
His primary focus is to assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of The Institute’s Personal Certification scheme for Non-Destructive Testing known as PCN, for certification issued in accordance with BS EN ISO 9712.
In addition, Patrick provides broad technical assistance for all NDT related matters and has been a voting member of the UK National Aerospace Non-destructive Testing Board (UK NANDT B) since 2015.

Roger Engelbart
Retired. Previous Job Title at Boeing: Associate Technical Fellow - Nondestructive Evaluation
Roger Engelbart began his 50-year nondestructive testing (NDT) career as a radiographic technician in the aerospace industry. He holds a B.S. in metallurgical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an M.S. in mechanical engineering/materials science from Washington University in St. Louis. Roger is recently retired from Boeing Research & Technology-St. Louis, where he was an Associate Technical Fellow in nondestructive evaluation, focusing on the development of inspection methods for aircraft advanced materials and structures. He currently works for Boeing as a contracted NDT consultant. He holds more than 60 U.S. and international patents in NDT technology. He has been responsible for both internal and contracted research and development, and for executing technology transfer and research programs with Boeing’s international customers. This role has taken him to numerous countries, providing him the opportunity to communicate with international users of ASNT certifications and NDT technology. Roger has been a member of ASNT for more than 30 years and holds NDT Level III certifications in five methods. He is a Past President and Chair of the Board of ASNT, and currently is a member of the Board of Directors.
