Mac Sullivan
Head of Technology and Digital Promotion, NNR Global Logistics
Mac Sullivan, the son of an artist and a teacher grew up on a farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia. As of 2020, he has 30-35 years left in his career and aspires is to facilitate a retooling and upskilling of the logistics industry through promoting collaboration between education, business, and technology.

Mac often speaks at international logistics and technology events. He enjoys mentoring university students and recent graduates as often as his schedule permits. His work in sales and marketing in the logistics industry prompted him to pursue his PhD in Political Theory from ECNU where he is finalizing his dissertation on how government policies can deal with the disruptive effects of digitalization and automation on the logistics industry. Self-study and a passion for this topic has helped him recently become the Head of Technology and Digital Promotion, where he is facilitating the digital transformation of NNR Global Logistics, a division of the Nishitetsu Group.

Mac has an EMBA from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Georgia. He is an adjunct professor at Tongji University and has taught at universities such as Texas Christian University (TCU) and Elon University in the past. Mac spent nearly a third of his life as an ex-pat, living in Spain, Thailand and China during his 20's.

Lastly, he is excited to share that his first book “The Digital Transformation of Logistics: Demystifying Impacts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” is coming out on January 7th, 2021.

Richard Seeg
President, Intermarine Americas, LLC
Richard Seeg serves as Intermarine’s President. He has worked in the international transportation industry for over 25 years, focusing on the project, breakbulk and heavylift shipping sectors.

Richard joined Intermarine’s chartering team in the New Orleans office in 1998. He moved to Seoul, South Korea in 2001, to lead the Company’s chartering and sales activities in Asia. Richard relocated the company’s Asian headquarters to Shanghai, China in 2004, and expanded Intermarine’s operations to cover the area from Japan to the Suez Canal.

Richard returned to the U.S. in 2010 to lead Intermarine’s North Coast South America / Caribbean lines, later taking on the entirety of the Americas Liner Service. Today Intermarine operates as a standalone regional carrier covering the Caribbean, North, Central, and South America within the SAL Heavy Lift Group.

Mr. Seeg earned a BA in Biology from Tufts University and an MBA from the AB Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Prior to earning his MBA, he served four years as an officer in the US NAVY.

Director of Projects, LV Shipping
Susan joined LV Shipping as Director of Projects in 2018, having been with TransProject LLC (managing member) 2004 – 2018, and Project Logistics Inc COO & member) 1998 – 2004. Prior to that, she was in project operations.

She started StGermain Heavy Industrial Projects (SHIP) a WOSB in 2018 focusing on clients who require diversity in their vendor pool and was 2014 NAWBO Business Owner of the Year and 2015 FHPW Woman of Excellence.

Stephen Garifalos
National Director, OOG & Specialized Cargo Sales, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company
Stephen is MSC’s National Director of OOG & Specialized Cargo Sales, based in Houston, Texas.

Building on three decades of experience in breakbulk and project cargo shipments on a worldwide scale, Stephen has led logistics teams as an exporter, importer, ship agent, freight forwarder and carrier.

He joined MSC in March 2018, where he currently leads the national commercial effort in the project cargo business on containerships, helping to cement MSC’s position as a trusted provider of project cargo services.

Stephen has served as a board member of the Maritime Workers Emergency Medical Fund since its creation. He is also a past board member of Rail Industrial Clearance Association and the West Gulf Maritime Association.
