    Paul Atefi
    Managing Director, Credit @ KKR & Co.
    Paul Atefi (London) joined KKR in 2017 and is a Managing Director, focused on private debt and capital markets solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients.

    Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Atefi was in the acquisition & leveraged finance team at J.P. Morgan, focusing on financial sponsor clients with additional responsibility for FIG corporate clients, having developed that leveraged lending vertical. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Atefi was at RBS, initially in the leveraged finance team and latterly in the global restructuring group. Mr. Atefi is a qualified chartered accountant, having qualified with PwC on their Transaction Services team.

    He graduated with first class honours from the University of Leeds.

    Ms Mazurek has been working for Apex Group as a Private Debt Consultant since May 2021. She has over 20 years of experience in private markets, gained on the sell side and the buy side. Most recently, she set up the debut infrastructure debt fund of Kommunalkredit and the infrastructure debt business of Macquarie Asset Management for Continental Europe.

    In the past 10 years, she has led 35 infrastructure debt transactions to financial close, across EMEA and APAC.

    Kevin A. Pemberton

    Kevin joined Microsoft X Industry Solutions, Customer Transformation & Innovation division in 2021 as Executive Director, Digital Transformation Advisor. In his role, he serves as business and innovation partner to Microsoft’s Tier 1 clients in the financial services sector. He is focused on developing and driving strategy, digital transformation, and customer engagement that accelerate net new markets, alternative and adjacent revenue streams and products and services. He is based in New York.

    Prior to Microsoft, Kevin served as Director at UBS Hedge Fund Solutions. Prior to UBS, he was a Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman responsible for third-party institutional equity and fixed income registered mutual fund clients and modernization of core operating capabilities, product transformation development, and controls and monitoring.

    Mr. Pemberton holds a AB, social science, concentration in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management. He is an Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science, in Enterprise Risk Management program at Columbia University.
