She leads the commercial lending division of WestStar, where she and her team focus on commercial real estate and industrial lending. Arlene serves as the Treasurer of the El Paso Downtown Management District, Immediate-Past Chair of the El Paso Chamber, Immediate – Past President of Executive Forum of El Paso and Past Chairman of the Board of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra. She served on the YWCA Board of Directors and the YWCA Paso Del Norte Region Foundation. She also served as Past President of the Board of Directors for Hospice of El Paso, and served on the Executive Committee of El Paso Westside Rotary. Alma Valdez Brown has worked with LiftFund since February 2008. As Senior Business Development Officer, she has helped many business owners with loans and technical assistance. One of the biggest roles she plays with business owners is as a resource to them. If they need business advice, help with financials, reading a credit report, or an introduction to another service, Alma does that. She continues to keep in touch with clients to help them stay successful. She belongs to local Chambers and organizations that focus on small business development and education. Alma was named the 2016 Financial Services Champion of the Year by the Small Business Administration regional office. Her past experience is in residential and commercial real estate. Alma has lived in San Antonio for most of her life. She is married and has two children.

Danielle loves launching and growing ideas. She and her husband have spent time as Landlords, Airbnb hosts, Urban Farmers, and their current adventure is Moooseum Ice Cream. Moooseum is a dessert food truck that brings joy to parties, corporate events and large functions. She is a licensed engineer with a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA in Finance from the University of St Thomas. She continues to be involved with Washington University and currently serves as the chair of the Houston Region Cabinet. Danielle had a great career in the waste management industry where she held senior positions until launching her own biohazard waste company, and subsequently selling it. Danielle used her experiences navigating corporate life to spend a decade as a Professional Speaker, Entrepreneur, and Author.

Darya joined Sempra team in 2019 with over 20 years of both domestic and international experience in supply chain, project execution and management of change. She has worked with major O&G Operators across the project spectrum of exploration, development, production & operations both offshore and onshore. She also spent time in the manufacturing industry in senior leadership roles. Darya also holds an Executive MBA degree from Mays Business School of Texas A&M University.
