This webinar will provide an overview of RD ALFA Microelectronics, its heritage, and current offering of radiation-hardened components qualified for space applications. RD ALFA contributes to European non-dependence by supplying several component types as a unique EU source. Lev Lapkis is an experienced professional in business development and project management, with a strong focus on the space industry. At RD ALFA Microelectronics, he is responsible for partnerships with the European Space Agency and major system integrators such as Thales Alenia Space and Airbus. He also serves as the head of the Latvian Space Industry Association, supporting the development of Latvia’s space ecosystem and promoting local industrial capabilities.
