  • About
Burnout is characterized as something that only happens to the overworked among us, but it can—and often does—happen to everyone. Whether you’re overworked or underemployed, the effects of burnout can creep up quickly.

But how do you recognize the signs of burnout? And what do you do once you realize you’re experiencing it?

Especially now, in a time where many of us are working, studying and interacting remotely, the boundaries between working lives and social lives are increasingly blurred.

On Tuesday, 12 October, we’ll be hosting an interactive webinar with Penny Blackmore. Penny will share her experiences with burnout, as well as how to recognize the signs in your own life—as it can look different from person to person!

For Penny, her burnout happened during the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. In her words, it was a compound of: living in Germany problems, tax stress, freelance stress, and, honestly, some existential stress too. It resulted in her hair falling out, having rashes all over her body, and experiencing bad sleep.

Despite all the warning signs, it wasn’t until she listened to a particular podcast that Penny understood what was happening to her.

Penny will share some resources and exercises to help mitigate the effects of burnout, so come prepared to take notes, and to take control of your energy levels, as well as your free time!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
