The University of California application gives students a unique opportunity to tell their story through the Personal Insight Questions. In this webinar, led by former UCLA Admissions Officer Frinee Berrios, students and families will learn how to approach the PIQs strategically and use them to add depth and personality to the rest of the application.

We’ll break down what UC admissions readers are looking for, how to choose the strongest prompts, and how to develop responses that highlight a student’s experiences, values, growth, and impact. We’ll also discuss common mistakes, effective brainstorming techniques, and how to make each response feel distinct while still creating a cohesive overall application.

By the end of the session, students will have a clearer understanding of how to turn the UC Personal Insight Questions into one of the strongest parts of their application.
