Insights Webinar FSSC 22000: Hygienic Transport of Food Through Effective Tank Cleaning

Transport hygiene is a crucial yet often overlooked element in maintaining food safety. This final FSSC Insights webinar of 2025 will be held on 3 December at 1 PM CET and will take a closer look at how organizations can strengthen their hygiene practices through FSSC 22000 Additional Requirement 2.5.10 on transport tank cleaning.

Kelly Mulholland, FSSC Technical Manager Safety & Quality, will explain the intent behind this requirement, review it in more detail, and provide guidance for its effective implementation in accordance with our Guidance Document on Transport Tank Cleaning.

Adding an industry perspective, Vladimir Surčinski, CEO and Vice President of ENFIT, will present the ENFIT Transport Hygiene Risk (THR) Analysis model. He will also provide insights highlighting where transport hygiene most often fails, revealing shortcomings in cleaning, labeling, pre-loading/unloading, and design practices, among others, and then walk through a practical approach to validating transport cleaning that companies can adopt immediately.
